Heavenly Vision

Below is a link to my RaptureReady.com article, Heavenly Vision. Share if you would like.

In all the doing I do, I sometimes have to stop and remind myself just how vital it is that I intentionally continue to prepare my heart for the coming of the Lord. I don’t know how far away the rapture is, but I believe it’s way sooner than some choose to admit. I know that once the rapture does happen, I want to be well prepared to meet Jesus face to face with no regrets. I should never, ever stop growing and leaning into Him. Same with you. “Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming” (1 John 2:28). I don’t want to be found as a believer who has earthly vision, but rather one with heavenly vision. Continue reading on RaptureReady.com…

  1. Dear Lisa, I am sorry to read about the loss of your Dad. Lisa, lately I seem to be focused on serving Jesus in heaven.
I feel that full and true knowledge and wisdom will be given to us who serve Him, that we can perfectly share His Very Heart with His children. Isn’t it an honor that our Lord trusts us to obey Him and to work through us? As it is now I feel so inadequate, even as I bumble and stumble through. 🙂

    1. Thanks for touching base, Barbara. It is an honor that our Lord is willing to work through us. I’m with you and feel so inadequate for the task. We will bumble and stumble through together.

      In Him,
      Lisa

  2. Blessings to you and your family, Lisa. I am grieved by the news of your Dad’s passing. No matter how our faith is, it still hurts immensely and I will continue to lift you and Dede up.
I have been watching for the harpazo for over 30 years and I just can’t wrap my head around the wickedness that is rampant. It is, as you stated, stealing my peace. I must stop focusing on events and shift it back to Whom it belongs.
The thought of taking part in the rapture thrills me to no end, and yet, I often find myself worrying about the Bema judgment. Will I have been faithful? Will He be disappointed in me? Will I only have hay, wood and stubble to show for my walk?
I know I’m not the only person thinking about these things but it sure seems like it from time to time.
I trust in His finished work on the cross, not any of mine. All I desire is that He’s pleased with me. Isn’t that all any of us want? 😊
Thank you for your posts, as they have been a great blessing to me.
May Yeshua continue to bless you and your family and your wonderful work.

    1. Blessings right back to you, Robert. Speaking of blessings, your message sure blessed me.

You’re not alone in your thoughts about the Bema Seat. I think more of us than you think wonder. There have been times when I’ve had to settle my heart with the knowledge that I’ve done the best I could with what I knew at the time. Now that I know more, I’m more determined in what I do. Like you, I trust in the finished work on the cross.

I’ll get to work on my next installment soon. Thank you again for your encouragement.

      Your sister,
      Lisa

        1. Thanks, Brenda. Good to hear from you. It’s been a while. I’m glad you liked the article. The next one is a couple of weeks out.

          You’ll hear from me soon,
          Lisa

  4. Lisa, thanks for a preview of your newest article. I pray readers will desire to turn away from their earthly vision of a world which is decaying and dying and develop a heavenly vision of peace and eternal promises found only in Jesus.

He told us he was going to prepare a place for us and would return to take us home before the Tribulation so it would be good to prepare our hearts now, but I yearn for him to come and take his bride soon. The bible says Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:2-3. Oh, what a wonderful day that will be!

      1. Lisa, your beautiful message brought to mind that song which I can’t get it out of my head either. So, thank you. Your article provided deep food for thought and reminded me to watch again Pastor JD’s message 2/19 called Distracted From Our First Love based upon the Lord’s message to the Ephesians in Rev. 2. He named several things which distract us today from our relationship with the Lord. It is a ploy of the devil but I stand guilty, so I have posted an image of 2Corinthians 10:4-5 on the wall as a reminder.

God is using you in a beautiful way to bless others through your gifted writings to teach some things that are important to God and help to prepare our hearts and focus of attention on Jesus as we await that gathering in the clouds on that glorious day. I will definitely be sharing this with others! Thank you. To God be the glory!

        Blessings,

        Karen

        1. Hi Karen,

Thanks for your kind encouragement. I can’t wait to actually meet you at the Gathering Thursday night. I know it will be an uplifting time for us all.

          Lisa

  5. Thanks for this article Lisa. I really do need to learn better how to give more time to being in the Word than on listening to videos. Prophecy has always excited me but when I am in the Word I feel such peace and right now I need that peace more than ever. I feel the Holy Spirit drawing me closer especially in my prayer time. I desperately long for so many to understand where we are at on God’s timeline. Thank you so much for all your articles. They are encouraging and I truly need that. God bless you and continued prayers for you after your loss. Marilyn

    1. Hey Marilyn,
Thanks for your continued encouragement. I’m with you and desperately long for others to know. Whether they like it or not, I guess they will know soon enough, both the lost and the found.

Not sure if you saw it, but I emailed you an invitation to a Zoom group. Let me know if you’re interested.

      God bless you right back,
      Lisa

  6. Lisa, thank you so much for this much-needed reminder that we maintain our heavenly vision. Boy do I know when I need to take a break from the earthly vision! Sometimes I allow the darkness to overtake me and forget to look up. I’m thankful the Lord laid this on your heart; I’m definitely sharing it with others. You are such a blessing, Lisa Heaton!
