So far, the month of August has seemed unproductive for me from a work standpoint. I had my granddaughter Ellie here to visit from South Carolina. Kim, best friend and ministry partner, was in town for a week of editorial work, video plotting, and a little R&R time. The time away from Daybreaking was more productive in my mind than on “paper” since the Lord has used these past two weeks to bring creative ways to mind of reaching out to others. That’s what this is and always will be about, reaching others, to wake and to warn.

In case you’re wondering, I love hearing from you. I had a reader, Heather, send me some ideas of what can be added to the preparation list. I like that she chimed in on this conversation of preparing our homes for what we see as an inevitable season of food shortages and possible upcoming lockdowns. Not only am I trying to be here for you, I like knowing you’re here for me too. We must find our people. A time will come when we feel isolated and alone. We need to know others are out there, like-minded, God-hearted people who see what we see and feel what we feel.

Preparing your home:

In the weeks to come, I hope to take the list of items to stock up on from the Prepare Your Home page and expand on some of the categories with additional information on how to store non-canned-good items. Things like pastas, rices, dried potatoes, and oatmeal will have a longer shelf life if they are stored in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. I hope to share a video soon on how to do that. This is a new skill for me, and I’m finding that others feel just as anxious about this process early on as I have felt. I’ll post updates to the page here.

IS Your House in Order NOW? – Appalachia’s Homestead with Patara – I appreciate Patara’s urging toward staying busy preparing. I’ve had a week off to love on my granddaughter, but as I get ready to take her home, already I’m thinking of my next projects as I prepare my home. There’s not time to spare. She said it a few times in the video, speaking of the government, “There’s no one coming to help you.” I agree with that. We will help one another in community, but don’t expect your government to save you when whatever comes: food shortages, war, or natural disaster. If you feel the urging of the Spirit to prepare, then go all in.

This is an alarming look at climate engineering that will leave 40 million people without water on America’s West Coast.

We are nearly finished with the blazing hot month of July. I’m not complaining since I have my granddaughter Ellie here with me, and we’re spending our summer days floating in a pool. Because she’s here, I intend to unplug for a brief period and spend my time with her.

I can’t help but wonder if, at any moment, this world might upend on us and some disaster prevent my next visit with her. I hate that I’ve become this person, someone who watches and waits for the worst to happen. But how can I not with all we know is heading our way? With all that in mind, I’m trying my best to enjoy the time I do have with her. You know, that may very well be a good lesson for us all. We need to do our best to make the most of the freedom we do have and our ability to spend time with those we love. Now that monkeypox is on the horizon, their latest scare tactic, we have to know the outlook can’t be good. I’m guessing a lockdown will come just in time for elections in November.

I often have to keep in mind that “they” will go to any and all lengths to keep their momentum going, this diabolical plan to control the world and its people. They’re doing a great job so far considering how easily they have led the masses to comply. We, the not-so-easily-led minority, can be certain they have plans to undermine us every step of the way, but we don’t have to worry. We just prepare to the best of our ability, love others, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Whatever they bring our way, we can know that God’s protection over and His plans for His people will always prevail.

All this to say, you might not see me for a minute or two. Soon, though, I hope to hit you with a few videos and a new series titled Prepare the Heart. In the meantime, I will continue to add my Week in Review articles and videos here, just a few things that I happen to catch during the week.

I’ve listened to several of his podcasts.

I can never recommend Pastor JD Farag’s Prophecy Updates enough. He doesn’t just tell us what’s going on; he gives us encouragement to persevere throughout this unknown journey.

I’ve been using this platform for my business for many years. The very moment I hit send, I received an email saying my account had been suspended. When I couldn’t find out what specifically I had done to violate their use policies, I realized that it was likely due to the inclusion of a website called Mercola.com in the articles I had shared. Dr. Mercola has been a vocal truth-speaker since the Covid plandemic began. I have since had to find a new platform to use.

The point is: Artificial intelligence should terrify us all, and being censored should infuriate us all. This is only the beginning.

The above information is a lot to take in. Usually I would say take your time and read/watch over time. In this case, however, I can’t urge you enough to move quickly through it. There’s no time to waste in preparing your home and family for whatever our future might hold as it pertains to limited food availability.

I see way more than food shortages headed our way. Our world isn’t normal and won’t ever return to what we once knew. The Bible is very clear about what the final days of our world will look like prior to Jesus’ return for His bride at the rapture and then during the time of the tribulation. (I wholeheartedly believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.) If you’ve intentionally avoided the prophetic books of God’s Word up until now, this is the time to read for yourself and pursue sound Bible teachers who will help you understand. I pray you will heed my warning.
